HairCheck is a trichology clinic — diagnosis and treatment of hair and scalp — in Lviv, a beauty-medical practice. The niche is narrow and local, so the goal was to make Google Maps a real patient-acquisition channel, not just a pin on the map. This is local SEO in its purest form.
We worked through the profile, its relevance, and the link with the site systematically — as part of comprehensive SEO — and focused on the actions that matter: routes, visits to the site, and profile interactions.
Five-month results
What we did
-
Google Business Profile optimization
After an audit, we refreshed the profile structure, descriptions, categories, and services for correct local indexing.
-
Local relevance
We strengthened local presence factors and worked through keyword research for narrow trichology searches in Lviv.
-
Profile content
We updated the profile content — photos, services, and wording aligned with what patients actually search.
-
Linking the profile to the site
We strengthened the tie between the profile and the site and aligned pages with local queries — SEO content in one system.
-
Ongoing work on target actions
We maintained the profile continuously, focused on routes, clicks, and calls.
In practice
Local visibility turned into action: 477 routes built to the clinic (+131.6%) and 53 visits to the site (+178.9%). The number of search queries the profile showed up for grew to 664 — a +2,453.8% jump, meaning the profile started appearing far more widely.
Queries that surfaced the profile
The profile mostly showed up for narrow local commercial searches — terms like ‘trichologist Lviv’, ‘trichologist’, and ‘hair check’. We built the relevance of the profile and the pages around those direct-intent queries.
Tools
Worth knowing
Even in a narrow local niche, systematic work on the Google Business Profile delivers more than visibility — it meaningfully lifts routes, clicks, and interactions with the business. For a beauty-medical practice, that means real patients, not just impressions.
The takeaway
Local relevance turned into real demand: over five months the profile grew in visibility (+268.8% views) and, more importantly, in target actions — routes, clicks, and interactions. Google Maps can be a strong acquisition channel even in a narrow local niche, given systematic work. From here we maintain the profile and scale what brings inquiries.
We're in a very narrow niche — trichology in a single city — so we didn't believe Google Maps would bring a real flow. It does: the profile became visible for our queries, people build routes to the clinic and call. The team worked systematically and showed clear numbers every month. We're happy with the result and continuing the work.
