Evmax is a private multi-specialty medical center in Kyiv — neurology, electroneuromyography (ENMG), phlebology, gynecology, aesthetics, and more — with a bilingual site. The goal was to take the clinic from invisible in search to competitive in Google, in a tough medical niche where local SEO and trust in medical content decide everything.

Over three months (January–April 2026) we rebuilt the site structure, scaled content by specialty, raised E-E-A-T, and focused link building on priority services — all as part of comprehensive SEO. Here’s what we did and what came of it.

What we did in three months

  • Audit and structure

A full SEO audit, a Google Search Console review, usability and competitor analysis, a new site structure, and complete keyword research in both languages.

  • Content by specialty

16 blog articles (neuropathy, carpal tunnel syndrome, limb numbness, gynecology) and optimization of 38 service pages with briefs and FAQ blocks — in Ukrainian and Russian. This is SEO content built around the questions patients actually search.

  • E-E-A-T and technical health

Doctors credited as article authors with photos and bylines, FAQ markup, and certificates — the trust signals Google weighs most after a Core Update. Redirects, canonicals, and speed were handled as technical SEO.

  • Link building focused on ENMG

19 links over the period: 9 permanent placements on medical and topical sites, crowd mentions, and local directories. We ran link building with a clear focus on the priority ENMG direction.

  • Conversions and mobile UX

A full booking form on the homepage, Book buttons on every doctor’s page, and a floating booking button in the header — 85% of visitors come from mobile.

In practice

The link focus on ENMG paid off directly: for the query ‘stimulation electroneuromyography’ the site climbed from position 59 to 3. ENMG became the site’s strongest direction — 84 keywords in the top 10.

Neurology: +355% in a month

After we published articles on neuropathy, carpal tunnel syndrome, and limb numbness, the neurology direction grew from 9 to 41 keywords in the top 10 in a single month — that’s +355%. Phlebology added 8 to 28 keywords (+250%) after page optimization. Content tied to real patient questions delivered the fastest gains.

Worth knowing

In late March, Google rolled out a Core Update that hit medical sites across Ukraine — which is why positions corrected in April. This is a market-wide shift, not a local problem: clicks and average position kept rising through it. We’re recovering through E-E-A-T — doctors as authors, with photos and certificates. We don’t promise instant rankings; we show the real trend and the honest context.

May: recovery after the Core Update

The latest Google Search Console data confirms it: after the correction, the site is growing again. Over the last 28 days — 5.91K clicks versus 5.25K in the prior 28 days (+13%), 547K impressions, and an average CTR of 1.1%. Conversions in the May report added +8.17% (1,152). Even mid-update, traffic and leads keep climbing — that’s the effect of a systematic approach, not one-off spikes.

The takeaway

In the first three months, clicks from Google grew 2.6× (2,554 → 6,625 a month), average position improved from 11 to 6.4, and conversions hit +85% in the best month. After the Core Update the site didn’t crash — it recovered: May showed 5.91K clicks in 28 days and +8.17% conversions. The clinic moved from invisible to competitive, with a clear priority on ENMG, neurology, and phlebology. Next, we scale what works.

In a few months the clinic became visible where patients simply couldn't find us before — more people now call and book straight from search, especially for neurology and ENMG. What I value most is the team's honesty: when Google changed its algorithm and our positions dipped, they didn't paint a rosy picture — they explained why and showed a recovery plan. And it worked. We see real numbers and transparent monthly reports, so we're continuing the partnership and gladly recommend them.
